About AFROTC

 1._Rated_positions2

The mission of Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) is to produce leaders for the Air Force and build better citizens for America. As a cadet in Air Force ROTC, you'll be working towards a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S.Air Force and learning the skills you need to be a competent Air Force leader.
Explore this web page to learn about the programs and activities in which Air Force ROTC cadets participate to prepare them for officership and leadership roles within the cadet wing and on active duty.

In addition to Air Force Science classes, Leadership Laboratory and Physical Training, cadets can participate in Air Force ROTC summer programs and cadet organizations that organize and participate in service projects for the Corps, campus and community. These activities are designed to offer cadets a glimpse of the Air Force before they enter active duty. Many cadets use these opportunities to help them decide which career path they want to pursue on active duty. Finally, it's important to remember that the primary focus of the Air Force ROTC program is to commission quality officers for the United States Air Force
